Equality Federation is "an advocacy accelerator rooted in social justice, building power in our network of state-based lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) advocacy organizations," working with more than 40 member organizations across the United States. As more and more anti-trans policies, legislation, and rhetoric are being pushed across the country, BWC works with Equality Federation to provide strategic messaging, communications, training support around trans rights. We helped trans folks and allies write op-eds and prepare for public testimony, and supported numerous Equality Federation member organizations in customizing materials and resources to be relevant to the specific needs of individual states.
